Description:
This is a consortium of wetland centers and researchers from 12 West African countries, from Mauritania to Cameroon.  The challenge is to bring together Anglo- and Franco-phone countries under one entity.  They meet every six months and have a new facility in Ghana.

Funding:
The Dutch government.

Research:
There is a focus on the Sahel and climate change.
